Beach Bums

So how was our beach trip?
Perfect. Absolutely perfect. And fun. And fun. And more fun.
 I am still sad we are home. The boys had an absolute blast, and Joel and I got to be with our dear friends, the Simmons and the Pitkanens. Great food, great friends, giggling kids, the ocean...wonderful. It was a vacation from above. Loved every minute of it!
Warning: I have posted an obnoxious amount of pictures, so unless you are related to us or were one of the people on this vacation, you might want to skim quickly. Lots of memories made for lots of pictures.

Back from the Beach!!

 We're baaaaaack! We had an absolute blast at the beach. But I will save the details for my beach post coming soon (gotta get all my pics together). Here is an iphone dump for you in mean time.  

 

Look at Coop Coop being so big on the bike. He can't let Carter out do him, ya know. So he has to put the helmet on and sit on the bike too.

 

 

We hit up one of the last baseball games. Boys loved it....well they loved the snow cones and playground. I don't think they ever even glanced at the field.

 

Isn't this the most priceless picture ever?!! On Mother's Day we went to my brother's house for dinner and got to take the boys fishing. TOO MUCH FUN! Carter was thrilled after each catch...he caught four! Boys were just made to fish. Pure joy for this kiddo. 

 

Coop was totally uninterested....well besides this cork. It was pretty cool.

Love this. Uncle Chas was proud of Carter's "big" catch. Look at that tiny little fish. It might as well have been a killer whale in Carter's eyes :)

Off to Kroger. I try not to take my children to the grocery store anymore. It's just too hectic, but sometimes it's unavoidable. Not fun for mama, but loooots of fun for little boys.

 

DaDa found a real train down the road from us. Wow....was that ever a big deal! Carter was in heaven.

A Summerish Week

Sum Sum Summertime!!! Well not really summertime yet, but it sure has felt like it around here. School is wrapping up, it's hot, and we have been outside in the water hose and the kiddie pool all week. Here are some random pictures from our summerish week.

Dixie drives me crazy sometimes especially when she meows obnoxiously at 6:00am and wakes Coop up (ugh!!!!), but the one good thing I applaud her for is all the mice and moles she kills for us. We will never have a rodent problem around here...phew.

Carter has been sharpening his gymnastic skills on the pack 'n play or "Coop's time out" as he calls it.

BB and PawPaw bought the boys tacky spiderman shoes, and in their little minds, they were instantly the coolest boys on the planet. All smiles! Coop will hardly take them off.

Visiting Dada at his office for a piece of chocolate. Joel keeps a jar of Hershey's kisses, and you would think he has pure gold for them everytime we visit.

Off to school!

Caught him right before he was about to take his morning tee tee. Obnoxious I know. But we live in Mississippi...a boy's just gotta tee tee outside a time or two a day. I pick my battles.

Look at my new purchase!!! Aren't they so stinkin cute? I found them last week at an antique store, and HAD TO HAVE THEM. They look so cute in Coop's room. Can't wait to find bedding for them.

PawPaw was such a sport and helped me disassemble at the store, load it up, and reassemble at home while BB babysat. C and C LOVE their new beds! Thanks for the help, BB and PawPaw! And thanks for paying for them, Hub :)

Carter loves bugs...bugs, bugs, bugs, and frogs and lizards and worms, etc...

Is this Spiderman or Coop? The apparel from head to toe threw me off a little bit. This kiddo loves him some "spomomom."
