Partaaaay!!!!

Coop turns two Wednesday!!!
Can you believe it? We are in full celebration mode over here. We had his party yesterday at Pat Lamar Park....GREAT place for a party!
We invited his little Mother's Morning Out class, and he was so excited all his little friends were there.
Here is his invitation:
Calling all Superheroes to swing by and play.
We’re celebrating
Coop’s 2nd Birthday!
Join us for cake and ice cream at
Pat Lamar Park.
March 24th at 4:00
*Bring your favorite riding toy.

The excitement level was through the roof yesterday with my boys! Spiderman mania! Everything spiderman, spiderman, spiderman.
We kept the party simple with cupcakes, a pinata, and lots of riding toys. Total success! The perfect weather was the icing on the cake.
Tried to get a picture of them together in their matching spiderman shirts before the party...semi success.

Gotta love a fake smile for mama. Sweet boy.

Getting his candles just right.

We let him open one present at the park, and it was a hit! Our neighbor and Coop's big buddy, Mary Katharine, gave him this plush spiderman.

It was love at first site.

Of course he can fly.

The cupcakes.

One of the 25 riding toys there....Coop cried when this one had to go home with his friend, Jack. Gotta get that boy a trike with a bell on it.

Coop adores my brother, Chas. So Uncle Chas was definitely Coop's guest of honor. They have a special bond that consists of yelling, screaming, chasing, tickling, and scaring one another.

Birthday Boy....Can i freeze him right here, please?

Balloons in the whipping wind are too fun.

Pinata!!!!!

Scrambling for candy

Candy and Dorito face

Getting ready to "blow" out the candles. It was too windy, so we told him to pretend, and he did! Hahahaha!

He got so excited when everyone was singing to him that he had to stand up and giggle. He ATE. IT. UP! This little boy loves the spotlight. All smiles and giggles when he had center stage.

Our family...so blessed.

Since he didn't get to actually blow out his candles at the park, we reenacted it when we got home. We relit them three times, and he blew them out three times. Couldn't get enough.

One happy, happy birthday boy.

What a day filled with laughs, hugs and kisses, too much sugar, lots of pictures, family, friends, presents, and celebration! I love a good party, especially when it's celebrating my baby Coop Coop!

Another birthday post coming Wednesday...a tribute to my favorite two year old.
